LICENSING and COMMISSIONS
LICENSING
All of the images shown in Marty's galleries are available for
licensing. If you come across something
you like and would like to see it in more detail, contact us and Marty
will email you an enlarged image
with information on how to license the work. Please state your
specific interest in the art, whether
licensing, authorized reproduction or other potential usage. We look
forward to learning more about
your company and your needs,
COMMISSIONS
Owning a work of art is an enjoyable experience. You may have
purchased art in the past or have been
unsuccessful in finding that right piece. If so, why not commission a
work of art directly from Marty?
The work will be personal and unique and will be specifically produced
for you and your requirements.
Medium to Choose From
Watercolor, pen & ink or mixed media images. Digital images for online
preview are always provided.
For printing/publishing, 300 dpi files (or higher resolution) will be
produced for your requirements.
Fees
Marty bases her quotes on the artwork's medium, size and complexity,
as well as the rights to the use
for print or publication.
The Commission Process
Send us an email to tell us what you are looking for and Marty will
reply to answer any questions
you may have about the commission process, including a quote and when
she can begin. After
discussing the particulars of the commission and reaching an agreement
on pursuing the project,
we request a 50% down payment before beginning sketches. The remaining
balance, plus cost of
shipping, is due upon completion of the art or illustration assignment.
Designing and sketching of the image begins based on the details you
have provided. At intervals,
Marty will scan and send sketches for your approval and feedback. She
will continue the sketch/edit
process until the design(s) is approved. She is constantly refining
and adjusting the image so not all
of the work may be apparent at this stage. When the sketches are
approved, painting begins.
Before shipping the finished art/illustration, Marty will send you a
digital photo of the work to make sure
you are 100% satisfied with your commission. Alterations will gladly
be made to your specifications.
We accept payments with Paypal. We also accept checks and will ship
the art when your check
clears the bank. |
